MMS-2 SCM Search Coil Magnetometer Level-1a Calibration Waveform (CDF)

This data set contains MMS-2 SCM L1A calibration waveform. The SCM calibration is executed at least once per orbit. The calibration signal sweep is broken into 4 segments with increasing sample frequencies and the whole calibration sequence lasts less than 90 sec. The frequency of the calibration signal doubles every 4 cycles from 0.125 Hz to 4096 Hz. Each segment consist of four different frequencies.

SCM data, as a data set of the MMS-SMART data products, are open to all scientists and the public (Users). Users should contact the MMS-SMART Principal Investigator (PI) J. L. Burch and O. Le Contel the co-investigator (coI) of the SCM instrument to consult on the appropriate use of instrument data.
