Description
This data set contains amateur radio signal report collected from three up-stream data providers including WSPRNet, PSKReporter, and Reverse Beacon Network. Data are available in HDF5 format on madrigal database, with web-based system to plot, download file, print file, and view file information. Each file contains data from one day of amateur radio signal report and the file contains twenty-four data parameters: year: Year (universal time), units: y month: Month (universal time), units: m day: Day (universal time), units: d hour: Hour (universal time), units: h min: Minute (universal time), units: m sec: Second (universal time), units: s recno: Logical Record Number, units: N/A kindat: Kind of data, units: N/A kinst: Instrument Code, units: N/A ut1_unix: Unix seconds (1/1/1970) at start, units: s ut2_unix: Unix seconds (1/1/1970) at end, units: s call_sign_tx: Transmitting station call sign, units: N/A txlat: Decimal latitude of sending station, units: deg txlon: Decimal longitude of sending station, units: deg call_sign_rx: Receiving station call sign, units: N/A rxlat: Decimal latitude of receiving station, units: deg rxlon: Decimal longitude of receiving station, units: deg tfreq: Transmitted frequency, units: Hz sn: Signal to noise ratio, units: N/A smode: Sender mode of operation, units: N/A ssrc: Sender source type, units: N/A pthlen: Signal path length (assuming shortest path), units: km latcen: Latitude of signal center point, units: deg loncen: Longitude of signal center point, units: deg
