Description
Radiosonde sounding data at Darwin airport observatory, Australia (12.4S, 130.9E) during three intensive observation periods (October 13-18, November 15-20 and 11-16 December, 2001) in the Darwin Area Wave Experiment (DAWEX) campaign. The data are stored in the text files named nD(month)(day)(hour).txt for each launch of the balloon, and the time interval is about 3 hours. Pressure, temperature, humidity (relative humidity and dew point temperature) and wind velocity up to 35 km are stored with 0.1 km height resolution. The data also include condition code for each parameter (0 is available). The value of -999 means missing data. Details of data and DAWEX campaign have been described in Tsuda et al. [J. Geophys. Res., 109, doi:10.1029/2004JD004946, 2004].
