Observation data of the lower troposphere taken by the transportable wind profiler (called LQ7) at Manado (CSV format)

ResourceID

Description
The 10-minute average observation data in the lower troposphere (0.2-10.0 km) taken by the transportable wind profiler (called LQ7) at Biak, in North Srawesi, Indonesia (1.55N, 124.93E, 90m MSL). The data are stored in the CSV (Comma Separated Values) file named (year)(month)(day).(variable).csv. The variable abbreviations are uwnd, vwnd, wwnd, pwr1, pwr2, pwr3, pwr4, pwr5, wdt1, wdt2, wdt3, wdt4, and wdt5, which mean zonal, meridional and vertical wind velocities, echo power and spectral width for beam 1-5, respectively. The azimuth and zenith angles of beam 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 are (0, 0), (0, 14), (90, 14), (180, 14), and (270, 14), respectively, in unit of degree. The numbers of the first line of each file represent altitudes, and the second and below are observational date and local time (year/month/day hour:minute) which corresponds to the center time of averaging period (first column) and data at each altitude (the other columns). The value of 999 means missing data.

Acknowledgement
If you acquire Manado-WPR data, we ask that you acknowledge us in your use of the data. This may be done by including text such as Pontianak-WPR data were obtained by the JEPP-HARIMAU and SATREPS-MCCOE projects promoted by JAMSTEC and BPPT under collaboration with RISH of Kyoto University and LAPAN. We would also appreciate receiving a copy of the relevant publications.
