Standard radio wave phase-amplitude variation data (Athabasca station)
ReleaseDate
2012-12-12 12:00:00
Description
Amplitude and phase time series of low frequency standard radio transmitter signals at 19.80(NWC), 21.40(NPM), 24.80(NLK), 25.20(NDK), 37.50(NRK), 40.75(NAU), and 60.00kHz(WWVB) received at the Athabasca station, Canada. Variations in the phase and amplitude reflect changes of the ionization state in the lower ionosphere which is caused by energetic electron precipitation from inner magnetosphere (radiation belt), solar x-rays, lightning dischanges, and so on.

Public data still includes some instrumental drifts and artificial noises. It is recommended for you to contact to PIs before they start detailed analyses and publications. Entry to publication list: When your paper is accepted, or when you make a presentation at a conference on your result, please let us know by sending email to "tsuchiya(at)pparc.gp.tohoku.ac.jp".
