Apollo 14 ALSEP Electron and Proton Spectra, offline at NSSDC

ResourceID
spase://NASA/NumericalData/Apollo14-LM/CPLEE/PT19S

Description
The data are 19.2-s count rates of electrons and protons at several energy steps between 40 eV and 20 keV. Two electrostatic analyzers, each feeding 6 detectors, are oriented vertical from the lunar surface and 60 degrees from vertical, towards lunar west.

Parameter #1
Name
Count rates
Description
Count rates of electrons and protons from each of two electrostatic analyzers, each of six detectors per analyzer, and each of 8 voltage steps for each 19.2 sec cycle
Caveats
Occasionally (rarely?), the instrument was operated in a manual mode, when the cycle was 2.4 sec and voltages were not swept.
