Description

High-resolution spectral FITS files generated by the RHESSI mission. These files provide finer time and energy binning compared to the standard products, making them suitable for detailed flare spectroscopy and rapid variability studies. They include calibrated count spectra and corresponding Spectral Response Matrix (SRM) files for selected intervals, formatted according to OGIP standards. The data are designed for use with RHESSI analysis tools such as OSPEX, allowing precise modeling of solar flare X-ray and gamma-ray emission. In short, fits_hires offers high-resolution, analysis-ready FITS data for advanced solar flare investigations.
