The EUVI images (all four wavelengths) are processed via a wavelet-based multi-scale algorithm to remove the zeroth order component (primarily stray light). The algorithm is tuned to enhance the off-limb emission in the images. The resulting images are stored as both FITS (using the original header) and PNGs and can be ingested by the SECCHI Solarsoft IDL routines for analysis
Please note that all of the SECCHI data is free for public use, but if you use them in presentations, published work, websites, etc, please give the appropriate image credits ("STEREO/SECCHI" will usually suffice).
